The 99th Chinese Export Commodities Fair Open in April

Chinese Export Commodities Fair (CECF), or “Canton Fair” for short, was inaugurated in spring, 1957. Held biannually in Guangzhou every autumn and spring since then, the CECF is co-hosted by Ministry of Commerce of PRC and People’s Government of Guangdong Province. The Fair, a comprehensive trade fair of international importance, has won its renown of “China’s No. 1 Fair” for its longest history, the highest level, the largest scale, the most complete in exhibit variety, the broadest distribution of overseas buyers and the greatest business turnover in China.

For its development of nearly 50 years, the CECF has become the most renowned brand of trade fair in China. Each session, the CECF attracts over 10,000 outstanding Chinese enterprises and a huge number of buyers from different places of the world. At the Autumn Fair of 2005, nearly 180,000 buyers from 210 countries and regions attended the CECF and the trade volume reached 29.43 billion US dollars.

The 99th Chinese Export Commodities Fair will be held from Apr. 15th to 20th and 25th to 30th at CECF(Liuhua)Complex and CECF (Pazhou) Complex simultaneously. The net exhibition area reaches about 263,000 sqm. At this session, over 12,000 outstanding exhibitors will attend and show 150,000 superior Chinese products.

The 99th session of the CECF will keep the same exhibition format as that of the 98th session with 5 product categories and 34 exhibition sections, but minor changes on scale and location will take place in some sections. For more details, please refer to the schedule shown as follows.
